Assiniboine Park

One of the new exciting attractions at Assiniboine Park is the new polar bear exhibit called "Journey to Churchill" at the park zoo. Being new to Winnipeg, what a surprise to see a fully functioning mid sized zoo in the middle of the city! Highly approved. Went with the significant other on my birthday weekend to check out the polar bears and more fun.

In the middle of the exhibit is a small eatery and windowpanes to view the polar bears. What a brilliant idea to check out the main attraction and get a quick bite.

Afterwards, we went to check out the rest of Assiniboine park, its beautiful flowers and ponds.

Overall very impressed!
